CHAPTER 1
Before focusing on the origins and the history of the gastronomic restaurant business, it is necessary for us to briefly step back and explore the very origins of life. In this short chapter we address ourselves to that which is responsible not only for our own existence, but for providing virtually everything that gives us sustenance.
